Habitat for Humanity was founded as a Christian organization, and continues to maintain an ecumenical Christian identity. Nevertheless, Habitat welcomes and works closely with people of all faiths, belief systems, and walks of life. Together, we work as a team to improve lives and support communities. We encourage churches, mosques, temples and other religious organizations to sign a “Covenant” with Habitat – establishing a lasting and meaningful connection between the two groups. Habitat is called to serve the same struggling people many faith-based organizations aim to assist. Together, we will be stronger.

Check out our latest project - “Building on Faith”

130 volunteers from 13 different faith centers came together for a day of service to help revitalize the campus of Rancho Damacitas. Together we painting 2 homes, built 2 playhouses, created 5 custom mailboxes for each house, cleaned up the chapel area and spruced up landscaping.
We will be hosting our second annual event in September 2020. To learn more please info@habitativ.org.
