Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, in cooperation with the Riverside County Economic Development Agency and the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, has completed the rehabs on 7 homes that have been sold to qualifying families. We celebrated our newest homes at a House Dedication Ceremony on August 26th:
NSP 1
In 2008, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley was awarded $1.7 million as part of the Housing and Economic Recovery Act. This money allowed us to purchase 10 foreclosed homes in struggling neighborhoods and rehab them. Working alongside families, volunteers, businesses and many other members of our community, we moved 10 families into their new homes in time for Christmas 2010.
